Amending the Next Refill

The Amend Next function opens prescriptions in the Amend Next mode, allowing you to make changes that will be applied to the next refill. Amend Next is available for status Complete, Cancelled, Amend and Amend Next prescriptions.

Note: Amend Next can be invoked using the keyboard shortcut ALT N in the Correct Rx window.

You can select a prescription to amend by:

• Amending the Next Refill from the Patient Folder
• Amending the Next Refill from the Workbench
• Amending the Next Refill by Entering the Rx Number
• Amending the Next Refill From the Patient Profile on the Workbench

When a label set if printed for an Amend Next prescription, the File Copy indicates: *AMEND NEXT RX - NOT FILLED*
